Read and follow these instructions, heed all warnings, and keep this document for future reference. Use this product in accordance with the user manual.
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
Place your product in a suitable location so it will not fall and damage the product or cause personal injury. Avoid placing the product in direct sunlight.
Do not use your product near a source of water that could cause water to drip or splash the product, or near objects filled with liquids such as flower vases or fish tanks.
Do not use your product near naked flames or heat sources such as radiators, heaters, stoves, candles, amplifiers or televisions.
Only use the power adapter provided with this product.
Position the power cable and other connected cables so that they are not likely to be walked on, pinched or where items can be placed on or against them.
You should unplug your product during lightening storms or when not in use for prolonged periods.
This product must be returned to an authorised service centre for repair. Repair may be required when your product does not operate normally or is damaged in any way, including when the power cord or plug has been damaged, the product has been exposed to rain, water, liquid or moisture, or if the product has been dropped.
Clean your product using a dry cloth only and no water or liquid.
Warning: This product contains magnets which can be harmful to pacemaker wearers.
POWER SUPPLY WARNING
Caution electric shock / fire hazard. For indoor use only, do not expose to moisture or liquid, do not use any other power supply with your product.
BATTERY INFORMATION AND DISPOSAL GUIDELINES AT PRODUCT END OF LIFE
This product uses a non-serviceable, rechargeable battery, which should last the duration of a product warranty period under normal use.
Please do NOT attempt to change the battery yourself. If the battery becomes inoperable and you do not want to replace the battery you should follow the disposable instructions in the document that accompanies your product. Also consult local laws and regulations for the proper disposal of batteries and electronic devices in your region. If there are no local regulations concerning electronic waste disposal, place your product (and its battery) in a waste bin specifically designed for electronic devices.
Caution: there is a risk of explosion, fire or chemical burns if battery is replaced by an incorrect type, mutilated or exposed to conducting materials, liquids, fire or heat above (130f, 54c). Do not use or recharge a damaged rechargeable battery. Do not use or charge a battery if it appears to be leaking, discoloured, deformed or in any way abnormal. In the event that the battery leaks, do not allow the liquid to come into contact with the skin or eyes. If contact has been made, wash the affected area with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice. Do not leave a battery discharged or unused for extended periods of time.
When a battery is misused it may explode or leak causing burns and personal injury. If a battery leaks use normal precautions and return the product for repair or discard it immediately following the local laws and regulations in your area. Keep all batteries out of the reach of children.
DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING INFORMATION
Do not dispose of your product as unsorted municipal waste. The product should be handed over to a certified collection point for recycling or proper disposal at the end of its life.
For more detailed information about the recycling of the product, contact your local authority, the household waste disposal service, or the retail store where you purchased this product. The disposal of this device is subject to the Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directive of the European Union. The reason for separating WEEE and batteries from other waste is to minimise the potential environmental impacts on human health of any hazardous substances that may be present.
REDUCTION OF HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES
This device is compliant with the EU Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) Regulation (Regulation No 1907/2006/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council) and the EU Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS)
Directive (Directive 2011/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council).
This product conforms to all applicable EU directive requirements.
This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
LIMITED WARRANTY
If a defect is identified, we will repair or replace any defective parts, with a fully functional equivalent product that is new or refurbished, within a reasonable period of time and free of charge.
Should your BoomBocs audio equipment exhibit a fault, within the 2 years warranty period:
(1) Return your product, along with the original proof of purchase to the point of sale or
(2) Contact the BoomBocs support team via email on support@boombocs.com
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC RIGHTS SUBJECT TO SPECIFIED CONDITIONS. YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER LEGAL RIGHTS, WHICH APPLY TO THE PRODUCT YOU HAVE ACQUIRED. THESE LEGAL RIGHTS VARY FROM COUNTRY TO COUNTRY. SOME PLACES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION, RESTRICTION OR MODIFICATION OF CERTAIN IMPLIED RIGHTS OR THEIR EFFECT. IN THOSE SITUATIONS THIS LIMITED WARRANTY WILL ONLY APPLY TO THE EXTENT THAT THE APPLICABLE LAW ALLOWS. OTHER LAWS PROVIDE YOU WITH A STATUTORY CLAIM AGAINST THE SELLER.
The laws of your state or country may provide you with legal claims against the seller or manufacturer of this product. The Limited Warranty does not affect those rights.
The provisions of this Limited Warranty are in lieu of any other warranties or conditions, except those provided by law. This Limited Warranty does not affect any legal rights provided to you by law and does not preclude any legal remedy you may have under the law.
This Limited Warranty is transferable provided that the current owner furnishes the original proof of purchase from an authorised BoomBocs store or dealer.
In countries where liability limits are not precluded by statute, the maximum liability of BoomBocs Limited shall not exceed the actual purchase price paid by you for the product. In countries where limitations on liability are precluded by law, BoomBocs Limited shall be liable for no more than the direct damages for bodily injury, and/or real or personal property arising from the negligence of BoomBocs Limited.
Where not prohibited by law, BoomBocs Limited shall not be liable for special, incidental, consequential or indirect damages. Some places do not allow limitations on the exclusion or limitation of relief, special, incidental, consequential or indirect damages, or the limitation of liability to specified amounts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
